Malartic wins the Gold Best Of Wine Tourism 2024 Award for its "Gastronomic offer at the Château"

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Great Wine Capitals' prestigious Best Of Wine Tourism competition, the new Best Of Wine Tourism 2024 winners were announced at a Gala dinner on Monday October 9, 2023 at the Palais de la Bourse in Bordeaux.

 

Château Malartic-Lagravière is "Gold winner 2024 for Best Of Wine Tourism Award" for its gastronomic offer at the château, in the Wine Tourism Restaurant category.

Since 2017, the estate has been offering an selective and original range of wine tourism activities. With a record season in 2022, the 2023 season has been rewarded with this prestigious prize !

 

Renowned for its gastronomy, over the past two years the château has developed gourmet tours and meals at the "Table de Malartic", offering chic picnics in the park, cooking classes with the chef and elegant lunches in the magnificent setting of the Bonnie family's private residence. The Bonnies share their family culinary inspirations through the cookbook "The Four Seasons of Malartic", out in 2021.

 

This high-quality, tailor-made receptive activities reflect their state of mind : that of a family home where it's good to be received in the family dining room, where Chef Olivier, his wife Carole, and Alexia, the receptive manager, share their sense of welcome for an authentic, unforgettable experience.

We are therefore delighted to have received this award 

rewarding the work of the whole team !

 

This Gold « Best Of » Award enables us to enter the international competition alongside the 11 other cities in the Great Wine Capitals network. The results will be announced on October 26 in Lausanne.

 

We are also in the running for the Public's Choice Award 2024, for which voting will take place from October 30 to November 13.

About "Meals at the Château » :

The "Lunch of Malartic" offers guests an exceptional gastronomic experience in the château's private dining room. After a tour of the technical facilities, guests are welcomed to the château for a lunch prepared by resident chef Olivier, proposing seasonal menus with local produce. Particular attention has been paid to food and wine pairings.

Reservations required from Monday to Friday, all year round, for groups of 2 or more. Dinner available on request. Price €145 incl. VAT / person (including aperitif and 3 estate wines).
